I absolutly DESPISE Mustangs, but the ‘70 Fastback is the exception. It is the ONLY Mustang I like. Such beauty.

Looks like the left windsheild wiper needs some work. Maybe all that speed has something to do with it being torn :)

    428’s were all done after 70. No FE was factory installed in a 71-73. M code is a 351C 4V 70-71.

Is that a 429 shaker on there? if not where did you get that one?

  14. TDUB2008 says:

Its the engine. R code is the 428. M is the 351.

  15. CrazyAsianFood says:

    thank you!

  16. gearjammer351 says:

That is a reference to the fifth digit of the VIN,the one that indicates which engine option the car was built with. During the musclecar era, R-code Mustangs were ones equipped with the shaker hood scoop(or the dual scoops on the ‘71-’73 models)and big engine (428 or 429CJ) . This is often referred to as the ‘ram air’ option, but I don’t think that’s what Ford called it in ‘69 and ‘70. M code was the 351 4V. In ‘70 all 4V cars came with the 351C (on paper-some may have been Ws)

magnum 500 15in are on my car. but are not stock for the mach. stock for a mach 1 could be gt style 14in option or a hub caps stock. you can find the caps on e-bay the 500 would be stock on the boss. the 500s are a excepted up grade. but the style you want I think would look great. the rims are a easy change. I would like to see the car in ?s

  21. jakefmxrider says:

ok sorry im bugging you so much….what are the wheels called on ur mustang….i wanted to get the torq-thrust wheels…the ones that come on the new shelbys…but i would like for the car to be as original as possible….
