Hi Adrian .I was 13 or so when I noticed my first Porsche.I now know it was a Ruf 911 wide body turbo.I was on my way to summer work being driven by my mom who was just slow enough to get a good lingering look.I’m 51 now and own a 911 3.2 84 targa. One day when I’m older I want a Turbo… .The 915 is something to get your head around for sure.On bad drives I want to head over the nearest cliff and on others, well it’s a thing of beauty.I still haven’t been in fifth gear.
This Vid partly inspired mt to get my 88 targa, and snow bound, I’m watching it again to know what I’m missing!
Porsches last a long time when cared for. The 3.2’s had galvanized sheet metal. Mine is an 87 and has ZERO rust anywhere. They are very well made.
Great car. I had a 1984 left hooker in slate blue metallic. I own a 993 nowadays, which is much more refined, but this video makes me miss my old 3.2. What fun!
One day I’ll get another one, hopefully while they’re stil Porsche’s best kept secret. All the fun of a 2.7 RS without the mad price tag.
damn that car is older than me, but it looks so clean, and smooth!
Hello
You are absolutely right, bikes and 911s are the same !
Cheers
Nice job Adrian…look forward to more!
Nice vid.
I have a 88 Diamond Blue 911 Carrera coupe (Commemorative Edition) as well and it is the most beautiful car to drive.
thanks
