We have had VW sense 1989 when my parents met and had a 71 beetle then we got a passat wagon and a rabbit 4 door today around 10 we are picking up a used 2007 jetta with only 17,000 miles! I am so excited!
It’s awesome! It has a great stability. I have a 2010 and my wife a 2009. Great car. Great 2.5 engine (we’re in Brazil), very confortable.
That’s funny, it wasn’t mentioned on the sticker with the rest of the options, but my red 2010 Jetta TDI has it’s own theme music too!

nothing to crazy, but the US spec doesnt have the LED tail light, OR the Xenon headlights, only the higher models do and also engine choices are different i think
what are the different specs there in euro compared to US?
Out here in Australia we get the fancy headlights and taillights.
yeah i noticed that too, on the north american jettas there are no LED tail lights which sucks, maybe because they’re made in mexico or something, even the golf 5 (Rabbit) – same thing.
man the euro spec jetta is so much better than the us spec, i have the us spec and i want those head and tail lights, but overall its a great car

I have a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg and I like it very much and I`am getting way more miles per gallon that what VW has listed. A definite A+ for this car
For those of you looking to buy a VW, I think you need to check out JDPower. They rate every car and car maker on short and long term dependability. The VW is one of the worse automakers on the list! Only Sizuki is worse than VW as for as dependability. Lexus and Toyota dominate the majority of the segment awards, with Toyota receiving five awards-Highlander, Prius, Sequoia, Solara and Tundra-and Lexus receiving four-ES 330 (in a tie with the Acura RL), LS 430, and SC 430.
