Thank-you for the translation. Porsche has class. They are fine cars. I love the Targa 4S.

? This is a top rated sports car. Excellent location was ideal for the test drive and felt the car was alive in this environment which rekindled his love for driving. A special car with a small production, making it rare, but with real 911 feel. It is an exclusive car with presence and with impressive features.

? This is an exclusive car with only 5 percent of the 911 production. It is truly a pleasure to drive this car. The location for this demo-drive in Portugal with with winding roads and freeway makes you feel it’s made for driving the Targa at high speed in comfort – exhilarating.

The way the roof opened up has changed from the original and the first glass roof incarnation as 993 was a rebirth of this model. You can sense tradition and practicality with this car. The rear window opens up improving access, not possible in other 911s. As a golfer, you would benefit from not having to squeeze the golf bag out from the rear but to simply pop open the rear hatch for the caddie to carry away.

? What is amazing about this car: A dilemma when buying this car is the cabrio. However to go for the Targa in preference is truly for the Porsche minded, and can only be done if you really appreciate the 911 model, especially as it is at a premium. In that sense, it speaks for the personality of the driver. A cool guy with ample finance. This model has been in the Porsche lineup since it’s introduction in the 1965 Frankfurt motor show, and can be considered an established model.

? If you pull this lever backwards, the roof opens up creating a refreshing open air driving experience. The deflector stops any air being drawn into the cabin. In this position, it feels identical to a coupe driving experience – but without a roof. Close it, and it’s back to a coupe.

  7. ringodash says:

? Placing the enormous 1.5 meter square sun roof should affect the construction of the chassis compared to the coupe, but there is very little evidence of this. It is very quiet in the cabin. You’d expect aerodynamic noise level may be fractionally louder than the coupe but unperceptible to him.

  8. ringodash says:

? The Targa has a glass roof. Of note, the suspension has been tuned to accommodate this. Compared to the coupe models, the springs are softer and the dampers are just a fraction lighter and the stabilizer has been tightened to control the roll. The result is the best ride experience out of the 911/ 997 models.

  9. ringodash says:

    ? I’m driving a 4 model which means it has a 3.6l engine with 325bhp.
? The ride is amazing and beats all the 911 model he has tried so far. A very comfortable ride.

? I’ve moved on from a Peugot meeting to this presentation on the Porsche 4 and 4s models.
