I have to say the sound of Ferrari massages the pleasure lobe of my brain.
I could be in Mid Argument with wife, hear a Ferrari REV up and break in middle of arguing to listen, and sit there with a grin.
Very nice. I really like this “review” because it’s closer to what it would be if we tried to our self. Not a “know it all” review with with a bunch of drifts in it where they tried thirty times to get it correct.
I would say F430 is little more like street race car and 599GTB is more like exotic race car… But both cars are great…

i see that theres some delay for the gear to be changed after the paddle is being pressed.
I never drove a car with this type gearbox, but in my opinion there should be no delay. Correct me if I am wrong.

Gustav, what kind of car do you own?
I would sayo on the wheeel since it folows the steering wheel out of courners and in corners. Even if the paddles are huge as on the Ferrari it is better to have them foilow you. Problem is if you get confused when steering moe than 90 degrees but that happens seldom on a track or active driving when you need to shft at the same time. And o n the M5 you always have the option of using the selector at the “old” place.
