Reseal oil job for a 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa?

What does this mean exactly… I am looking at buying a
1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa and the owner said that the car leaked oil and he hasn’t done a reseal job to stop the oil leak.

Anyone have the answer?

I see them all the time but I have been wondering for the longest time what is the difference between the Carrera and the Targa? Also what is the difference between the GT2 and the GT3. Please do not just give me engine spec’s…I can look that up myself.

GT3 and GT2, are they different racing classes? The GT3 has a lower HP rating than the GT2 but everyone talks about the GT3. Why??

is a Porsche 911 Targa wider than a Carrera?

I was following a yellow 997 Targa 4S today and I could swear its rear wheel arches looked much wider than a Carrera S or 4S??

Or could it be that the Targa cockpit it slimmer due to the glass roof?
Or was I fooled by the yellow color?

Second Question:
Are there any size differences between any 911 Targa and Carrera models? Including the 4, 4s, 2, 2s etc…

Did the Porsche Cayman S hurt sales of the 997 Carrera?

I was looking for sales data for the Cayman S versus the Carrera. I remember there being a lot of controversy when the Cayman S came out a few years ago that suggested it would kill sales of the Carrera. I can’t find any info on whether or not sales were affected. Any thoughts?
